Effective: 19/05/2026. This policy applies to all transactions from this date.
1. Application
This policy applies to all products sold by Enova Technologies Pte Ltd (Company Reg. No. 200607106N) to business customers, including end-users and resellers. It does not apply to consumer transactions as defined under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Cap. 52A).
By placing an order with Enova, the customer agrees to these terms.
2. How Enova’s Warranty Works
Products sold by Enova are sourced from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) including Raritan, Adder Technology, G&D, ZPE Systems, Sunbird, and VuWall. Warranty entitlements are governed by each OEM’s terms and are not extended or modified by Enova.
Enova operates as first-line warranty support:
- Enova receives, logs, and performs initial diagnosis on all warranty claims.
- Where Enova can resolve the defect directly, it will do so at no charge within the warranty period.
- Where the defect requires OEM involvement (parts, board-level repair, or replacement), Enova escalates to the relevant OEM under its warranty programme.
Enova does not issue warranties independent of OEM terms. The OEM warranty document supplied with each product, or published on the OEM’s official website at the date of invoice, governs the scope of coverage. Enova will provide this document to the customer at point of sale.
3. Warranty Period
The warranty period for each product is as stated in the OEM’s warranty documentation supplied with the product or published on the OEM’s official website.
The warranty period starts on the date of Enova’s invoice to the customer.
Where an OEM requires product registration to activate coverage, Enova will complete registration on the customer’s behalf at point of sale where the OEM’s process permits. Where registration must be completed by the end-user, Enova will notify the customer in writing with the registration deadline and instructions.
4. Making a Claim
To submit a warranty claim:
- Email [email protected] with the product serial number, original invoice, and a description of the defect.
- Wait for Enova to issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number. Do not return a product without one.
- Ship the product to Enova’s service address in secure, adequate packaging with the RMA number marked on the outer carton. Enova’s packaging requirements are available on request.
Products returned without an RMA number or in inadequate packaging will not be accepted.
Risk in the product during return transit remains with the customer. Enova recommends insurance for high-value items.
Enova will inspect the returned product and notify the customer of the outcome within 10 business days of receipt.
If the claim is covered: Enova will repair the product or, where repair is not possible within a reasonable period, arrange a replacement unit of equal or greater specification. The choice between repair and replacement is at Enova’s or the OEM’s discretion.
If the claim is not covered: Enova will notify the customer and provide a quotation for chargeable repair before proceeding. No work will be carried out without customer approval.
5. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from accident, misuse, negligence, or improper operation.
- Unauthorised modification, repair, or disassembly.
- Physical damage to screens, casings, connectors, or cables.
- Environmental damage including moisture, corrosion, extreme temperatures, and power surges.
- Consumables (including batteries), unless defective at delivery.
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic deterioration, or image retention or burn-in.
- Products with removed or tampered serial numbers or warranty seals.
- Software, firmware, or data, including loss or corruption.
- Products not purchased directly from Enova.
- Defects resulting from failure to follow Enova’s or the OEM’s installation or operating instructions.
- Damage in transit from the customer to Enova where Enova’s packaging requirements were not followed.
6. Returns and Refunds
Enova accepts returns only where:
(a) the wrong product was delivered; or
(b) the product was dead on arrival, reported to Enova in writing within 30 days of delivery.
All returns require prior written authorisation from Enova. Products must be returned in original packaging with all accessories and documentation included.
Where a return is accepted, Enova will issue a replacement or a credit note at its discretion. Refunds to the original payment method are processed within 10 business days of Enova receiving and inspecting the returned product.
Enova does not accept change-of-mind returns.
7. Limitation of Liability
Enova’s total liability to the customer for any warranty claim is limited to the invoice value of the specific product giving rise to the claim.
Enova is not liable for:
- Loss of profit, revenue, business, or anticipated savings.
- Loss or corruption of data or software.
- Business interruption or system downtime.
- Any indirect, special, or consequential loss, regardless of how it arises.
Nothing in this policy limits Enova’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its own negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
The liability cap above reflects the pricing of the products and the commercial terms agreed between the parties. Customers are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance against losses that exceed this cap. By placing an order, the customer confirms it has had opportunity to arrange such insurance.
8. Implied Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Enova excludes all implied terms, warranties, and conditions relating to the products, including those relating to merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Where an implied term cannot be excluded by law, Enova’s liability for breach of that term is limited to repair or replacement of the product, or payment of the reasonable cost of doing so.
The authoritative description of each product’s specifications and capabilities is the OEM’s published datasheet at the date of invoice. No oral representation made during the sales process varies or supplements these terms unless confirmed in writing by a director of Enova.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
This policy is governed by the laws of Singapore.
Disputes will be resolved in the following sequence:
- Negotiation. Either party may raise a dispute in writing. The parties will attempt to resolve it within 30 days of the written notice.
- Mediation or Expedited Arbitration. If unresolved, disputes with a value below SGD 100,000 will be referred to the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) or SIAC Expedited Procedure, at Enova’s election.
- Arbitration. Disputes with a value of SGD 100,000 or above, or disputes not resolved under step 2, will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Singapore, administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under its rules in force at the time.
Either party may seek urgent injunctive or declaratory relief from a court of competent jurisdiction without first completing the above steps.
10. General
This policy, together with the relevant purchase order or invoice, is the entire agreement between Enova and the customer on warranty matters. It supersedes all prior representations, whether oral or written.
Enova may update this policy. The version in force on the date of invoice governs each transaction. Dated archived copies of all previous versions are available on request.
Resellers may not make warranty representations to their own customers that exceed the scope of this policy without Enova’s prior written consent. Enova is not liable for any representations a reseller makes beyond these terms.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
A failure by Enova to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
Rights under this warranty are personal to the original purchaser and may not be assigned without Enova’s prior written consent.
