Adder ADDERView DDX30 Overview
Designed for industries such as air traffic control and management, audio/visual, banking, broadcast, command and control, data centers, defense, government/federal, medical, and more, the AdderView DDX30 from Adder provides a total of 30 ports, with ten user-console ports on its front panel (seven fixed, three configurable) and twenty configurable ports along its rear panel, helping to make sharing multiple host computers among multiple users simple and straightforward. Each computer that you’d like to share must be linked, via its USB and video (DVI, DisplayPort, or VGA) ports, to Adder’s DDX-CAM module, while each set of peripherals must be connected to a DDX-USR module (modules sold separately). All computers and consoles must then be linked with a Cat6a or Cat7 cable with S/FTP, S/STP, or PiMF shielding to a central DDX switch. After this setup is completed, users can gain access to any computer, so long as they are granted privileges by the admin.
If your installation requires a greater number of computers or user consoles, the allocation of select standard ports can be altered. As noted, 23 of the ports can be configured to function as either computer or user-console ports. Included with the ADDERView DDX30 is a power adapter, a power cord, four self-adhesive rubber feet, two 19″ rackmount brackets, and four screws.
