DSGIO’S UEX-U204-100C is a USB 2.0 Extender that extends 4 x USB 2.0 signals up to 100 meters over a single CAT.x cable. The USB 2.0 Extender is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. There is no need to install software or drivers; it is plug and play. The Extender unit provides a durable, high-quality connection, complies with USB 2.0 specifications, and is backward compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 1.0 devices, ensuring reliable data communication.
The USB 2.0 Extender consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit, each equipped with one mini USB-B port for 5V DC power supply. The Receiver provides DC 5V, 500mA to each USB-A port, and power supply is not required on the transmitter side when it can draw sufficient power from the host device (PC/Laptop).

DSGio can offer a series of USB 2.0 extender products, including box type and wall plate type families that are interoperable. This allows a box type transmitter to be connected to a wall plate type receiver via CATx cable, and vice versa. Also available is the Single Gang Wallplate compatible with UEX-U204-100C.
