The Raritan PX3TS is an intelligent hybrid rack transfer switch PDU that prevents downtime by automatically transferring load between two independent power sources. It combines electromechanical relays and silicon-controlled rectifiers (SCRs) to achieve transfer times of 4–8 ms — comparable to a static transfer switch (STS) but at a significantly lower cost. The PX3TS includes full PX3-class power metering at the inlet, outlet, and branch circuit level, plus remote outlet switching for enhanced control.
