DSGIO’S DisplayPort HDBaseT 3.0 KVM Extender, KEX-HBT3-SD90P, consists of a Transmitter (Host/PC) and a Receiver (USB Device) unit. It allows you to extend DisplayPort/HDMI, USB 2.0, 3.5mm Audio, and Serial signals up to 70 ~ 100 meters. Based on the latest HDBaseT 3.0 technology, the CATx DP Extender supports uncompressed 720p/1080p/4K@60Hz (4:4:4) video and 480Mbps USB 2.0 signals.

Dual KVM Console: Dual-User Access
Dedicated USB-A ports on the TX and RX of the Extender units are suitable for both local and remote USB peripheral access. The dual console function allows two users (local and remote) to share one computer. The local console, Transmitter, enables users to access the computer directly, while the remote console, Receiver, allows users to control the computer remotely as if they were sitting right in front of it.

Bi-Directional Video Extension
Bi-directional DP/HDMI signal transmission, combined with video switch or splitter functions, enables the video output port on the Transmitter unit (Local Out) to present either local video from the TX or remote video from the RX.
The video signals can be switched simply by pressing a button. The Local Out video switching function provides better visibility and allows local users to monitor video signals from both sides, while the video splitter function broadcasts the video signal on both the local (TX) and remote (RX) units concurrently.

Bi-Directional Audio Extension
The Extender’s bi-directional audio signal transmission, combined with audio embedder/extractor functions, can independently transmit the audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, and vice versa. It can also embed audio from a 3.5mm source into the DP signal or extract the DP audio to a 3.5mm analog stereo output. These diversified audio streaming functions support real-time broadcasting, on-site broadcasting, off-site broadcasting, and emergency warnings.

The PoH (Power over HDBaseT) feature provides 48V from the Transmitter (PSE, 48V) to the Receiver (PD), allowing for greater flexibility in different installation scenarios where there is no available power socket nearby.
