DSGIO’S 18Gbps HDMI Video Extender can transmit high-definition video and audio signals, RS-232, bidirectional IR, over distances up to 150m (492 feet) between the Transmitter and Receiver using a single CATx cable. It supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, 18Gbps bandwidth, and HDCP 2.2. The Extender features an HDMI loop-out port for additional output and supports audio de-embedding for L/R audio output. Additionally, the Extender includes two-way IR passthrough, enabling control of both the source and display devices.
The HDMI extender consists of two units: the Transmitter unit captures HDMI input signals and transmits them via cost-effective Cat5e/6 cable, along with IR control signals. The Receiver unit receives the HDMI signal and transmits IR control signals. This Extender provides a convenient solution for extending HDMI signals over long distances using a single Cat5e/6 cable, making it ideal for various applications. The maximum extended distance is 394ft / 120 meters for 4K signal and 492ft / 150 meters for 1080P signal.
